While I was in Auckland, New Zealand to attend the X-Media Labs. New Zealand The capital of ‘Jumping off Any Hight’ and I surely could not resist myself from doing one of those jumping gigs. So I looked outside my hotel room and saw the tallest structure in Auckland. It was the Auckland Sky Tower 192 metres straight down!
They have an interesting concept going on that tower. The Sky Jump. SkyJump is one of New Zealand’s most thrilling tourist attractions and one of Auckland City’s ‘don’t miss!” experiences. SkyJump can be described as Base Jumping while attached to a wire - just like a movie stuntman. You’ll fall very fast (approximately 85kph) for around 11 seconds 650 feet, and then come to a very smooth landing in the plaza below.
I must say the activity was great fun and very thrilling and I can’t wait to do more. So New Zealand you will find me back for all the adventure you offer...
